Daily Record (or Waily Retard as we know it)

A bastion of professional journalism as shown below. Managed 2nd place in 1996-97 but walked away with the title in 1997-98 before reverting to 2nd in 1998-99 and winning it again in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. Their WWW site is here.

April 26th- Preview of St Midden game mentions one of our youngsters - "Manny Parker"!! Who he then?.
February 5th- Report on the Airdrie replay has us going through 4-3 on penalties - it was 4-2.
January 16th - Back page "exclusive" : "COLIN WALDIE is set to make history for Stenhousemuir tomorrow when he becomes the first Scot to play in a match wearing a protective MASK." - Wrong Jim Weir did it years ago. Thanks to Gary Panton.
December 5th- Report of a Clyde player set to miss "tomorrow's visit of St. Johnstone" - "tomorrow" is Friday - the game isn't played until Saturday.

July 5th - An early start this year with coverage of Stuart Malcolm's trial at Plymouth saying that "Sturrock handed the big centre-half his senior debut during his spell as Saints boss and has watched his progress. ". Wrong it was Sandy Clark that gave him his debut.
