George Clyde
- Back to Ref League Table
- 24/08/02 Arbroath v Saints 38 (7
votes)- Turned down some good decisions for Saints but tried to
let the game flow. Failed to red card the Arbroath defender who was last
man and seemed to annoy everyone at the game.
- 10/05/03 Saints v QOS 33 (6 votes)
- Not a bad game overall although a decent Saints penalty claim was
turned down.
Mike RitchieBack
to Ref League Table
- 25/01/2003 Airdrie v Saints 24 (5
votes)- Some very poor offside decisions and a dodgy hairstyle
didn't help.
- 04/02/2003 - Saints v Airdrie (Replay) 36
(10 votes)- Tried to keep control but seemed unwilling to book
dissent or timewasting / diving by the Airdrie Thugs. Not helped by some
of the worst linesmen ever seen.
- 10/05/03 Saints v QOS 18 (3 votes)
- Some dodgy offsides as usual and strange interpretation of the yellow
cards but the game was allowed to flow and he had his moments.
Ian
Frickelton- Back to Ref League Table
- 02/11/2002 Alloa v Saints 16 (9
votes)- Absolute shocker. No complaints about the penalty against
us but far, far too whistle-happy and willing to stop play for niggly
fouls. Ever heard of the advantage rule?
Brian Cassidy-
Back to Ref League Table
- 01/03/2003 Alloa v Saints 50 (10
votes)- Far too whistle-happy but little controversy in the game.
Still booked Maxwell and Marco for little whilst allowing Alloa away
with some hefty challenges early on. Shite for both sides really.
Brian McGarry-
Back to Ref League Table
- 16/11/2002 Saints v Ayr 5 (9 votes)-
Red-carded Hartley which was about his only correct decision all
afternoon as penalties were denied, hanballs allowed to go unpunished
and cheating permitted. Totally pathetic.
Kenny Clark
(Paisley) - Back to Ref League Table
- 21/09/02 Saints v Ross County 51 (13
votes)- Gave us a penalty but some woeful offside decisions and a
strange reluctance to show any cards costs him marks
- 05/10/02 Saints v Clyde 34 (8 votes)-
Another penalty and some dodgy decisions but wasn't as bad as in the
past and nothing like as bad as the shite on the park
- 18/01/03 Saints v Clyde 27 (8 votes)
- Totally inconsistent. Still tried to let it flow and at least the
Clyde timewasting was punished.
Colin Hardie-
Back to Ref League Table
- 14/09/02 Ayr v Saints 23 (7 votes)-
Was having a reasonable game until the last 15 minutes then a denial of
a Saints penalty, incorrect booking for Keigan and general crappness
cost him all the goodwill.
Mike McCurry
(Wegieland) - Back to Ref League Table
- 31/08/02 Saints v Alloa 51 (11
votes)- Some dodgy decisions but no bookings and a willingness to
play advantage led to a decent flowing game. Not helped by some crap
linesmen though.
- 11/01/03 Saints v Ross County 66 (10
votes) - OK game but some dodgy linesmen didn't help matters.
Dougie Smith
(Troon) - Back to Ref League Table
- 17/08/02 QoS v Saints 21 (6 votes)-
Took ages to get the game under control and had a rotten time of it with
decision after decision given the wrong way. Still I suppose if you
antagonise both sets of fans equally you get something for consistency..
Ian Fyfe
(Linlithgow) - Back to Ref League Table
- 14/08/02 Brechin v Saints 38 (8
votes)- Couple of dodgy offsides but no real complaints. Kept
good control of the game and played some good advantages.
- 23/11/02 Ross County v Saints 18 (3
votes) - Nothing too controversial but booked Murray for a
nothing offence. Couple of reasonable penalty claims turned down.
Eddie Mack (Newton
Mearns)Back to Ref League Table
- 10/08/02 Saints v Caley Thistle 89
(13 votes)- Decent enough performance although late dishing out
the cards. Still tried to let the game flow and play advantage.
Tom Brown
(Edinburgh) - Back to Ref League Table
- 06/08/02 Saints v Accies 69 (11
votes)- Not great but not bad and at least tried to let the game
flow and even better let it go ahead.
- 29/10/02 Saints v Livvy 39 (10
votes) - Abandoned after 78 mins and not a great performance up
till then with Bollan and Dadi allowed to cheat all night.
- 05/11/02 Saints v Livvy 17 (6 votes)
- The rematch saw him have not a bad game but 2 amazingly bad decisions
in letting Xausa stay on the park and failing to spot the handball in
the 2nd half by Livvy in their own penalty area.
- 08/03/03 Saints v Arbroath 62 (12
votes) - Not a bad game but strangely reluctant to dish out the
cards. Still he was inconsistent for both sides.
- 22/03/03 St Midden v Saints 37 (8
votes) - Far too whistle-happy and inconsistent. Played advantage
several times but not his best performance.
Willie Young
(Clarkston) - Back to Ref League Table
- 03/08/02 St Midden v Saints114 (16
votes)- Fairly good performance and let the game flow without
being too OTT although some of the fouls he let go were pretty dodgy.
Still best of the season so far :-)
- 12/04/03 Saints v Weans 86 (13
votes) - Nothing too bad but a bit inconsistent for both sides.
At least he ignored Samuels diving.
Craig ThomsonBack
to Ref League Table
- 19/04/03 Clyde v Saints 27 (5 votes)-Far
too whistle happy and when the cards started he didn't seem able to
stop. Poor ref at a poor game.
Bobby Orr
(Kilbarchan) - Back to Ref League Table
Alan Freeland
(Sheepville) - Back to Ref League Table
- 15/03/02 Saints v ICT 22 (31 votes)-
Absolute shite - worst referee in donkeys. Not many manage to get such a
bad reaction from the Saints fans and dugout.
Dougie McDonald
(Edinburgh)- Back to Ref League Table
- 30/11/02 Saints v Falkirk 38 (9
votes)- Some woeful decisions and a failure to red card Tosh in
the first half. Strange interpretations of the offside rule as well
didn't help.
John Rowbotham
(Kirkcaldy) - Back to Ref League Table
- 15/03/03 Ross County v Saints 22 (5
votes)- Bit whistle happy but some good offside decisions and
played advantage at the right times as well..
- 26/04/03 Saints v St Mirren 16 (3
votes) - Pretty poor game with 2 penalties for St Midden and a
lack of the cards being shown to their "keen" tackling. Still
not much of any real contention on the park.
Charlie
Richmond- Back to Ref League Table
- 24/09/02 Stranraer v Saints 8 (2
votes)- Missed the game so no comment from me.
- 14/12/02 Saints v QOS 34 (6 votes)
- Nothing too controversial although seemed to fall for the Spaniards
overacting quite a bit.
- 05/04/03 Saints v Ayr 27 (12 votes)
- Absolutely dire. Far too whistle-happy and booked Peaso for nothing
whilst Baxter and Paddy suffered heavy challenges. So shite he must be
Lithuanian.
David Somers
(Cumbernauld) - Back to Ref League Table
- 28/12/02 Saints v Alloa 38 (6 votes)-
Tried to let the game flow but some strange decisions in a pretty clean
game.
John Underhill
(Edinburgh) - Back to Ref League Table
- 01/01/03 Arbroath v Saints 31 (6
votes)- Only one booking for Reilly and tried to play advantage
in some terrible conditions. Should have punished the home players for
the tackles on Flash towards the end though.
Kevin Toner
(Gourock) - Back to Ref League Table
- 09/11/02 Saints v Arbroath36 (8
votes)- Failed to give us a couple of decent penalty claims but
nothing really contentious. Reacted well to red card McDowell for his
challenges - not helped by some crappy linesmen.
Stuart Dougal
(Burnside) - Back to Ref League Table
- 07/`12/02 Clyde v Saints 30 (9
votes)- Not the best of games with some dodgy offsides and
advantage rules. Still managed to ignore Hinds dives and tried to let
the game flow.
Hugh Dallas
(Motherwell) - Back to Ref League Table
- 26/10/02 ICT v Saints 16 (5 votes)-
Missed the game so no comment from me (other than he gave us a penalty).
- 01/02/03 Falkirk v Saints 35 (13
votes) - Absolutely dire. Far too whistle happy and willing to
fall for simple contacts as fouls. Only thing he got right was not
giving the home side the penalties they tried to con out of him.
- 22/02/03 TFOE Saints21 (5 votes)
- Two penalties to the home side (when will you get over this sympathy
vote for the tattie famine Mr D) but a reasonably game apart from that.
Well apart from not booking Sylla or Hartson for diving that is.
- 04/03/03 Ayr v Saints 10 (3 votes)-
Soft penalty for Ayr but apart from that not a bad performance - and he
even admitted making a mistake once (pity the camera won't catch it)
Garry Mitchell
(Arbroath)Back to Ref League Table
- 19/11/2002 Saints v St Midden 48 (10
votes)- Good performance if a bit whistle-happy. Failed to
protect Parker and Hartley from the Paisley thugs though.
Eric
Martindale (Wegieland) - Back to Ref League
Table
- 28/09/02 Falkirk v Saints 39 (11
votes)- Absolute nightmare with dubious bookings, penalties
turned down and the biggest home bias I've ever seen. Specsavers now
sponsor referees - hopefully they'll provide some of their product to
this idiot.
- 08/02/03 QoS v Saints 44 (12 votes)
- Not a bad game overall and gave us one penalty (chalked off a decent
claim though). Didn't allow much timewasting although took his time
dishing out the cards.
