(Paisley) - Back to Ref League Table
- 26/08/03 Saints v Brechin 46 (12
votes)- Really dodgy non-penalty decision but apart from that
didn't have too bad a game. Played some good advantages and realised
that Parker doesn't dive.
- 20/12/03 - Saints v QoS 33 (8 votes)
- Let the game go ahead but pretty poor other than that with some heavy
early challenges allowed to go unpunished and a good Saints penalty
claim rejected.
- 14/02/04 - Saints v Ayr 66 (10
votes) - Good game overall but missed some rash challenges. Still
nothing too controversial really.
- 15/05/04 ICT v Saints 18 (4 votes)
- Not a brilliant performance with some dodgy fouls allowed by ICT.
John Underhill
(Edinburgh) - Back to Ref League Table
- 23/08/03 Saints v ICT33 (8 votes)-
Not too bad a game but a nasty piece of victimisation for Keigan with a
booking for diving. Still let it flow and didn't lose control.
- 28/10/03 Saints v Pars (CIS Cup) 66
(10 votes) - Booked J-Ro early on but apart from that had a
decent enough game although a bit too much advantage played and Crawford
should have been booked for diving in the 2nd half.
- 24/01/04 Saints v Raith 54 (8 votes)
- Pretty good game on an easy afternoon although he should have
redcarded Raith's Brown for a last man challenge in the first half. But
let the game flow and ignored the divers.
- 08/05/04 Saints v St Midden 42 (8
votes) - Two penalties to the opposition, both fairly soft but a
pretty safe end of season game with the cards kept in the pocket.

- 30/08/03 Saints v Brechin 23 (4
votes)- No penalty despite a good claim but kept good control of
the game and allowed the match to flow as much as possible.
- 29/11/03 Raith v Saints49 (7 votes)
- Kept the game flowing well and at least allowed it to finish despite
the conditions.
Mike McCurry
(Wegieland) - Back to Ref League Table
- 24/04/04 Ayr v Saints41 (7 votes)-
Pretty poor but it wasn't too dirty a game and he ignored the worst of
the dives. Not helped by some strange offsides though.
John Rowbotham
(Kirkcaldy) - Back to Ref League Table
- 13/09/03 Clyde v Saints 42 (8 votes)-
Not a bad game and was fairly lenient given the nature of some of the
tackles. But how on earth he booked 3 Saints players (including Parker
for a first foul) without yellow-carding a Clyde boy beats me.
- 22/11/03 Saints v Falkirk 34 (16
votes)- Dire, inconsistent and just very, very poor. Missed a
penalty for us and sent Dods off after O'Neil appeared to dive. Not
helped by some incompetent linesmen.
- 16/03/04 - St Midden v Saints 21 (10
votes)- Absolute nightmare with inconsistency being the only
consistent thing about his performance. The man is a joke.
- 17/04/04 Saints v Ross County 30 (6
votes)- Nothing too controversial on the park but some dodgy
offsides and freekicks over the 90 minutes.
Craig ThomsonBack

- 06/12/03 Saints v Ross County19 (5
votes)- Poor. Very, very poor but not helped by a pair of
incompetent assistants who failed to understand the offside rule. As for
the challenges on Hay and Mixu going unpunished - shocking.
- 01/05/04 QoS v Saints23 (4 votes)-
Not too bad giving us a penalty but some strange decisions and sometimes
too keen to blow the whistle. Still avoided too many dodgy cards so
better than last time.
Steve ConroyBack

- 09/08/03 Saints v QOS96 (14 votes)-
Decent enough performance managing to keep his cards in his pockets
despite some hefty challenges.
- 25/10/03 Saints v St Midden 31 (8
votes)- Poor linesmen didn't help but a fairly naff performance
from the man in the middle with a failure to clamp down on some of the
early challenges meaning a scrappy game later on.
- 10/04/04 Raith v Saints 11 (5 votes)
- Absolute nightmare with a total failure to punish the Raith fouls and
willing to tolerate all the dissent and timewasting.
Willie Young
(Clarkston) - Back to Ref League Table
- 02/09/03 St Midden v Saints 57 (10
votes)- Not bad but some bloody weird decisions. Still gave us
the correct penalty and despite almost losing control tried to keep the
game flowing.
- 01/11/03 QoS v Saints 24 (7 votes)
- Two good penalty claims turned down and a refusal to punish the home
timewasting meant he wasn't the favourite today.
Calum Murray-
Back to Ref League Table
- 03/01/04 - Saints v Brechin 41 (8
votes) - Not a bad game but a woeful linesman decision for the
2nd Brechin goal which was a mile offside. Let the play flow and didn't
have much to do otherwise.
- 03/04/04 - Saints v Falkirk 13 (3
votes) - Total and utter disaster with no concept of the word
consistency. Failed to red card Hughes for an elbow on Parker at the end
as well. So dire that even Stark was angry!!!
Brian Cassidy-
Back to Ref League Table
- 27/03/04 - Brechin v Saints 23 (5
votes)- Only lasted 45 minutes but a pretty fair game with little
in the way of controversy.
Stuart Dougal
(Burnside) - Back to Ref League Table
- 02/08/03 Accies v Saints (Challenge Cup) 21
(12 votes)- Christ it doesn't get any better. Sent off Forsyth
correctly but that was about it - Parker unfairly booked for diving
after being fouled, Reilly booked for a late challenge but fouls on Mixu
and Donnelly escaped any punishment. This man is an arse
- 21/02/04 - Ross County v Saints 27
(5 votes) - Not bad but little in the way of controversy to deal
with. Still at least McGarry didn't get away with too much diving.
- 20/03/04 - Saints v Clyde47 (10
votes)- So-so game but some dodgy decisions - and he's another
that doesn't like Keigan.
Kevin Toner
(Gourock) - Back to Ref League Table
- 10/01/04 - Saints v Motherwell (Cup) 66
(10 votes) - Pretty decent game considering. Clamped down well on
some of the late challenges although there were some dodgy offsides.
- 13/03/04 Saints v ICT 31 (11 votes)-
Some extremely dodgy offside decisions but not a bad game overall.
Little in the way of real controversy.
Iain Brines -
Back to Ref League Table
- 09/03/04 Falkirk v Saints 16 (6
votes)- Pretty dire and whistle-happy with an inability to book
players for diving or to judge the offside rule properly.
Garry Mitchell
(Arbroath)Back to Ref League Table
- 27/12/03 ICT v Saints 17 (5 votes)-
Absolute shocker - no complaints about the penalty but some very dubious
soft free kicks still ended up going ICT's way and how on earth Lovering
picked up a booking for kicking the ball away when they'd done it the
whole first half beats me. Not on the Xmas card list for 2004.
- 06/03/04 Clyde v Saints 12 (7 votes)
- Nightmare performance with advantages ignored, Smith getting away with
everything and just simply crap.
Hugh Dallas
(Motherwell) - Back to Ref League Table
- 27/09/03 Falkirk v Saints 58 (11
votes)- Not a bad game but took his time dishing out the cards.
Still let the game flow and at least picked up on some of the niggly
fouls.
- 13/12/03 Ayr v Saints 49 (8 votes)-
Good game in some dreadful conditions. Kept the cards in the pocket as
well for a change.
Dougie McDonald
(Edinburgh)- Back to Ref League Table
- 12/08/03 Clyde v Saints (Bell's Cup)18
(11 votes)- Why, oh why is this man allowed onto the park.
Absolutely dire match helped by a couple of shambolic assistants. Barely
kept control in the second half but took too long to dish out the cards
- although when he did they weren't exactly deserved. This man is a
disgrace.
- 03/12/03 TFOD v Saints (CIS Qtr Final) 30
(10 votes) - Come on he was at Ibrox, hence booking Flash and
Maxie early on but letting Pricksen, Lovenkrands and Emerson the Rocker
get away with murder.
John Gilmour-
Back to Ref League Table
- 16/11/03 Brechin v Saints36 (8
votes) - Pretty poor overall but there is some consolation in
that he was shite for both sides. Booked Mixu for persistent fouling but
seemed to ignore the way the Saints players were being kicked off the
park.
Tom Brown
(Edinburgh) - Back to Ref League Table
- 23/09/03 Saints v Accies (League Cup) 55
(11 votes)- Kept the cards in the pocket and tried to let the
game flow for most of the time. Fell for some dodgy timewasting tactics
by Accies and turned down a good penalty claim for us though.
- 08/11/03 Saints v Clyde31 (9 votes)
- Despite getting Bernard's sending off correct had a total arse of it
for most of the game allowing Peaso to be kicked all over the park and
ruling one good goal off for offside.
Colin Hardie-
Back to Ref League Table
- 18/10/03 Ross County v Saints 49 (7
votes) - Excellent game overall with a willingness to let the
match flow and for a change showed some common sense at some of the
challenges.
Alan Freeland
(Sheepville) - Back to Ref League Table
- 04/10/03 Saints v Ayr 47 (8 votes)-
Not too bad a game although the Ayr goal had more than a touch of
controversy about it. Still correctly sent off Dunlop for two bookables
and tried to control their timewasting.
Craig Mackay-
Back to Ref League Table
- 20/09/03 Saints v Raith 30 (6 votes)-
Too many cards and too much leniency on the timewasting but at least
punished some of the cheating and there are no complaints at Robertson's
sending-off.
Crawford AllanBack
to Ref League Table
- 16/08/03 St Midden v Saints 29 (6
votes)- His first senior game in charge and despite a couple of
flashpoints had a reasonable game although for a change we had 3
competent officials on the park. Should have taken earlier action
against McPherson for the foul on Robertson though.
