Well there goes the fucking unbeaten home record, the fucking pride left over from the 5-1 game and all thoughts of winning the league. With a bunch of skiving arses like the ones on the pitch today we'll be lucky to even dodge fucking relegation. And dont think the manager can escape criticism - even with the excuse of all the injuries there is no way our best player (Tosh) can be subbed with only 3 mins to go when there should have been changes long before this.
Certain players in the Saints team have been stuck by for too fucking long now. McQuillan is becoming a liability, Jenko has no tactical awareness at all (how about moving into the opponents half to receive a pass?), Roddy is past it as a striker (lucky if he got 3 headers today) and Scott needs to be told that hes no longer the boy-wonder in midfield but an experienced player who should be able to use his fucking initiative occasionally instead of relying on a more experienced player in midfield (and hurry back Attila).
Christ its not as if the Scum were up to much - lucky if they had 3-4 attacks the whole game. But the looked the hungrier side and were able to crowd out players like Georgio in order to spoil any Saints build-up. Even the goal they scored was a fucking flukey one on the break. Mind you it helps when arsehole refs like Mr Orr decide to treat shitface Charnley as a cheeky character instead of the dirty cheat he is - one tackle on McQ which could have been a red-card offence didnt even merit a booking.
On the plus side for Saints, Tosh looks a natural on the right wing and was our best player esp in the 2nd half when ONeil was moved to the middle of the park. In defence Weir and Danny had a good game. But Preston needs to learn to pass to Jenko occassionally.
Aw fuck it - Im off to get shitfaced.
