Dundee Utd Cheating Arab Gits 2 Saints 1 League Table Here

Team :: Main,Griffin,Outlet,Dasovic,Kernaghan,Weir,Wolf,O'Neil,Kane,Georgio,Jenko
Subs :: McCluskey,O'Halloran,Grant

Yet again Saints are picked to be on the telly (BBC again unsurprisingly) and yet again we get beaten despite a good fightback late on which might have yielded at least a share of the points if the old problems didnt show again - yup we still need a target man and the refs are still shite.

With McQ suspended Luggy picked Danny to take over the right-back role although he looked a lot less than match fit himself and in probably one of his worst games as a Saints player, looked to be very short on confidence. Being fouled and not getting the decision several times didnt help either.

Phizzy failed to make the team and Wolf Wright was put in the no 7 shirt but played on the right wing allowing a central midfield of Dasovic, ONeil and Kane with Jenko on the left wing supporting Shagger as sole striker. Its a 4-5-1 formation which is starting to look frustrating to the Saints fans as we spend most of the time chasing the game.

The first half was fairly even until Utd took a jammy lead after 12 mins when a goalmouth scramble saw a shot hooked in off the post. Despite Saints best efforts to get back into the game (Tommy Wright had a couple of shots) the second came on the half hour when despite fouling Danny, the Utd gits were allowed to get a cross into the box for a free header. By this time Saints were struggling with discipline on the park where the slightest challenge by a Saints player resulted in a booking (Jenko and Wolf were first in), but if an Arab git tried to break Dasovics legs no action was taken.

Farewell performance man Alan Kernaghan also found himself in the book at the end of the half when he charged down a Dykstra clearance and handled. In the ensuing scuffle though the big Dutch prick of a keeper decided to do some shoving and retaliation on Georgio - as was expected the ref let him off with it.

The second-half started better for Saints as they began to play the ball to feet in an effort to carry the game to Utd. There were more bookings with Dasovic and Biscuits the next Saintees to get into the book. Legend finally came on to replace Wolf (who still looks the part), before the ref decided we were starting to get back into the game and red-carded Jenko for a tackle on Pedersen - all I can say to that is that maybe Dean Windass is innocent.

It was always going to be an uphill battle and despite having the large part of the possession in the second half we didnt manage to get many shots on target. However with 5 minutes to go (and Chief and McCluskey on for Dasovic and Danny), Kane sent another lob into the goalmouth from fully 25 yards out. With everyone in the ground (including most of the Saints fans) expecting the shot to go over the bar, the ball went over the Dutch Pricks head and into the net.

Despite some heavy pressure in the final moments though there were no more goals and just as at Tynie and Ibrox the lack of a goalscorer is costing us points. MoM for me was Del ONeil purely for the studs raked up Dykstras thigh in the second half and the thumbs up to the dugout as the keeper received treatment.
