OK then. Lets just summarise by saying that this was the worst Saints performance I can remember since Ochilview and to be fucking honest it probably tops that for the pile of uninterested apathetic shite individual performances by the bunch of overpaid fucking egotistical self-centred and overinflated egos that had the audacity to even think for one minute that the crap effort they fucking put into the game would earn nothing more than the well-deserved humping by a fucking average Bairns side.
Never mind the fact that the Saints fans will have to put up with slaggings on Monday or that we'll all have to see Tottens fucking gloating mug splashed all over the tabloids. Every fucking player on the park in a Saints jersey should be fucking ashamed to even think of wearing the badge again. The time for excuses is over. We all know Luggy will spout the same shit to the media about stale performances. Personally its been wearing fucking thin since the TFOD match and after the shite on show today a lot of the fans won't be happy even if we go on and win the fucking Championship - although after today relegation looks a bigger certainty.
OK Richard, break up the rant with some sort of match report. We were crap throughout losing 2 silly goals in the first half and an unlucky long-range third in the second. In between there were bookings galore for Saintees, injuries to Dasovic (replaced by Attila) and Main (played on) and the introduction of Chief and Roddy for O'Neil and Scott later on in the match. Oh yes and its the first time since Ochilview (and only the 3rd in 20 years of watching Saints) that I've left a match before the final whistle.
Right report over, time for the post-mortem starting with the individual performances. Defensively not too bad although no hunger was shown (a fault across the entire side). Main got injured which didn't help but he should have held the third goal which killed the game. McQ and Il Biscotti were off form and Weir and Kernaghan both seemed to struggle in the heavy conditions.
Midfield was utter piss. Dasovic was OK until taken off and Phizzy looked OK until unfairly booked. But O'Neil, Kane, Attila and Jenko should be removed from the team immediately and taken out and shot. If they were youngsters I might have made some allowances but these are experienced professionals. Christ Jenko, Kane and Dino are supposed to be playing for new contracts. If the wankers don't want to play for us kick their lazy arses out and promote the kids. Jenko and O'Neill have been shite lately and Jenko especially in contributing fuck all to the side. His corners are crap, theres no evidence of the sprints up the wing and his ability to read the game is fucking shite.
OK front men. I know Georgio has had to carry the can lately cos he's on his own most of the time but he's far too fucking lazy. Fair enough he might lose the ball but can anyone say they've ever seen him fucking well chase the bastard afterwards and make a vague effort to try and regain possession? Can they fuck ! We know we need him but he needs a major kick up the arse as well. As for Roddy hes just plain past it these days - a summer exit is my prediction. Yeah he scores the odd goal but for a player with 13 starts this season a tally of more than 5 goals is expected.
As for the overall tactics by playing a 4-5-1 formation Luggy was his usual predictable self. Fuck at least with 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 we at least look like an attacking side. Even I knew before kick-off that on a heavy pitch like the crappy surface in the shithole of Brockville that arses like lazy Leigh and Roddy would struggle. We need a more attacking formation and stategy now - if not we'll lose a lot of the support and Gawd help us become the new fucking Dunfermline.
MoM for me was the entire Saints support for managing to tolerate the shite on the park until half-time before drifting off. As for the fucking players I hope they have a shite weekend - I know I will.
